5 tips for getting through Mother’s Day when you’ve lost your Mum

Mother’s day, like other holidays (particularly the first ones) can be very tough when you have lost your mum.  But it doesn’t have to be a day you struggle through.  This Mother’s day, make it a day that you celebrate your mum… regardless of whether she is here or not.  Having a little bit of a different perspective and a bit of a plan can make all the difference to your day.

My friends at  E-membrance asked me to write a guest blog for them on tips for people who would be facing Mother’s day without their mum.  (I recommend following them – they share a lot of the most useful info in this industry around G.R.I.E.F, death, funerals etc.  And they are just plain awesome.)

Instead of writing it again here is the link to check out the article I wrote on their site:  5 tips for getting through Mother’s Day without your Mum.

Take a look and let me know what you think.  I hope you find it helpful.

Till next time,

Kristie
