Life Insurance…and how we talk about death
This last week I’ve been getting quotes for new life insurance. And I had an experience that shouldn’t surprise me….but sometimes still does!
It was a perfect example of how we speak about death and how damaging it can be. A couple of weeks back I wrote on a similar topic – the language we use around death – and today’s topic – the way and tone we use – is just as important.

Another great post as always Kristie:) Spot on. Interesting to me also as I write copy for insurance companies. Although when you sell off the page, via direct mail, a major hook used in the industry is to appeal to people’s greed believe it or not. Congrats on your pregnancy – wishing you an easy time of it.
