Does healing your grief mean you just have no emotion about it anymore? i.e. will you be a sociopath?

Does healing your grief mean you just have no emotion about it anymore? i.e. will you be a sociopath?

 

The concept of completely healing from grief can seem totally far-fetched. I totally get it. Even if it’s something to feel you are drawn to and that you definitely want….it can be very difficult to imagine what that might look like or feel like.

It’s a bit like trying to imagine being in love…when you never have been.  Or trying to understand that taste of a food….that you’ve never tasted.  Not-being-in-pain around a death might be exactly what you want…but you still might struggle wondering what is left instead.

Does it mean you don’t care that they died?

Does it mean you don’t feel anything?
